Some of us just hate work and the idea of it. No! It has nothing to do with our workplaces. To be honest, we’d just rather be off on a trip to Mauritius with money we didn’t have to work for.
If you fall into this category, we’re sure these are things you can relate to if you hate work…
There’s absolutely no reason why we have to work for five whole days and have only about 24hrs to rest. We say 24hrs because Sundays are for panic attacks.
2. That one loud co-worker
As if Mondays are not bad enough, there is always that one loud co-worker. They’re either always cheerful for no reason or they are the most inappropriate people you’d ever meet in your life. You’ve probably imagined a life where you can beat the sh*t out of them without getting summoned by HR.
What is worse than a loud co-worker are those meetings that should have been emails. What makes them more painful is how they can be longer than meetings that are actually necessary.
Daydreaming is the glue that keeps us going strong. If you hate work, you’ll often find yourself daydreaming about the life you’d rather have. Sometimes, you imagine flipping tables and walking out shouting, “I quit”
5. The pay
Every little inconvenience leads you to that deep sigh that ends with the muttering of the words, “they don’t pay me enough for this”. Even when we know we are doing the barest minumum.
6. The work bathroom
No one loves the work bathroom like people who hate their jobs. Again, you sit here daydreaming and remembering the times when you were foolishly wishing to be an adult.
It’s really funny how one can work for three hours then look at the time and realize it has only been five minutes. We think it’s sorcery because time definitely moves differently when you’re at work.
